Wired’s Game|Life has an interview withZak & Wiki(alsoWe Love Golf) developer Hironobu Takeshita, who says that gamers need to actually “look at the screen” to get the puzzles in his upcoming Wii point and click adventure game. Imagine that!

“There are puzzles where, if you don’t look properly at the hints in the start, you’re going to be in trouble, says Takeshita. “But one of the main ways to play this game is to look at the screen. You have to look at the screen — all the answers that you need to solve the puzzles are there on the screen. There are some people who say they don’t understand the puzzles, but really, they’re not paying enough attention. All the answers to the puzzles are right there if you’re able to solve them.”

Takeshita goes on to talk about what PC games inspired Capcom’s modern point and click, though they’re probably not the ones you’re thinking of. He also talks about what changes were made to the game after U.S. game testers gave their feedback and touches on Capcom’s collaboration with Camelot (Hot Shots Golf) forWe Love Golf.
