After a few months oflegal shenanigansbetweenWitcher 2developer CD Projekt RED and distributor Namco Bandai, they’ve announced that Warner Brothers will be taking distribution duties for the Xbox 360 release of the RPG.

The re-release was pushed back into 2012 due to a discrepancy between the two companies, but CDP was glad to have the time to “polish the title to perfection,” so it’s all good, very good. CDP President Adam Kiciński said that “[They] have added significant enhancements to the Xbox 360 version of ‘The Witcher 2,’ going far beyond simply editing the code to run on a new platform.” He goes on to say that their RED engine will makeThe Witcher 2: Assassins of Kingsone of the best-looking Xbox 360 games to date.
