Droppin’ bombshells on its 15th anniversary
One of the worldwide leaders in the free-to-play market is poised to get a bit bigger in the near future. Wargaming announced today that it’s opening an office in Austin, Texas. According to the company, the new branch will serve as home to the “Producing Center, Central Technology, and Global Business Intelligence Groups.”
That wasn’t the only news that Wargaming had to share in celebration of its 15th anniversary. It’s recently acquired theTotal AnnihilationandMaster of Orionproperties. CEO Victor Kislyi said “Total AnnihilationandMaster of Orionare strategy game classics. We are more than willing to give a new lease of life to these games most of us grew up playing. It’s exactly where our major focus will be.”

Wargaming also revealed thatWorld of Warplanes‘ offering will be a bit more robust, as it’s adding British aircrafts to the mix. The Spitfire, the Blenheim F, and the Javelin are among the planes that are being added to the roster.
