Considering thatTyping of the Dead: Overkillwasn’t known about until the day of release andalmost never saw the light of day, it’s great to see more DLC packs extending the life of the game further. First there was theShakespeare pack, then the freeFootball Managerpack (jumpers for goalposts and all that) and now there’s the profanity-spewingFilth DLC pack which costs you just $2.99/£1.99on Steam.
No, it’s not a DLC pack created after the James McAvoy starring movie adaptation of the Irvine Welsh novel but there’s probably an equal amount of swearing in it. As you can tell from the screenshot above it’s a foul-mouthed expansion that fits withOverkill’strashy B-movie aesthetic. To be honest, from the in game footage I’ve seen the language is about on par for an average work night out here in Glasgow, so it’s not shocking to me.
