I’m going to spend entirely too long tuning myNioh 2character. That’s just the way it is. If you’d rather embark on the yokai-busting adventure sooner than later, you may want to pick a preset character.

Last year, Team Ninjaheld a contestin whichNioh 2beta players could submit their custom-designed character for a chance at having their creation featured in the final game. Now, the results are in.

The studio ended up picking eight winning entries, all of which will be playable as in-game avatars.

One of the characters is based onFinal Fantasy XIVdirector Naoki “Yoshi-P” Yoshida. Yes, really.

I love that someone not only thought todo that, but Team Ninja also went ahead and approved it.
