Truly a match made in heaven

In yetanotherbehind-the-scenes video forTearaway, the fine folks at Media Molecule today explain the importance of the array of options the PlayStation Vita offers that make the game what it is today. Since it acknowledges the player in a big way, things like the system’s front-facing camera will show the player’s face within the world (creepyTeletubbiesbaby-in-the-sun style).

Other things like the back touch panel will show the player’s fingertip within the world as well. That’s a nice touch. I’m sorry for the pun. Gyroscope, microphone, touch screen, and traditional button inputs all combine to makeTearawaythe game it is, in a way that makes sense and is not gimmicky. Without the extra input options the Vita offers, the game probably would have never happened. If you can’t tell, I’m real glad that it did.
