The trailer forThe Last of Uswas debuted at tonight’s Spike VGA show, and it looked fantastic. This is the reveal for Sony’s secret project, for PS3.
In the trailer, a young girl and an older man are shown working together in an abandoned building to fight off strange human-ish attackers. They looted one man for bullets after killing him, and were quickly approached by some very strange beings soon after. It all looked dark and brutal — just how I like my games.
The whole world looked ruined, and the girl said that every day is spent running in it. The cause? Fungus! F*cking mushrooms, man. I told you!
The game footage looked about as lovely as you’d expect a Naughty Dog title to look. In a word, beautiful. I can’t wait to hear more on this game.
