The Justice League lives, for now
Rocksteady’s four-player co-op action game has been in development for some time, andalready experiencedsome delays. Major shifts like this arenottoo uncommon, but the suddenness, combined with previous delays, makesSuicide Squad‘s case a bit stranger.
We had also just seen a significant chunk of this game at a recent Sony State of Play. The full co-op gameplay showcasedidn’t get everyone on-boardwith the direction though, andgrowing concernover a live service-focused structure took root.

So, now, Rocksteady’s co-opSuicide Squadgame is pushing the launch time back further. With an actual date set, that’s at least something. But even the concept of February 2024 seems so distant right now, I’ve got to wonder what sentiment will be like when Warner Bros. and Rocksteady resurface later on.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leagueis now launching on July 03, 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
