This latest trailer forRed Dead Redemption, entitled “The Law,” has me wondering — where’s the hype?
While the game looks to match (and perhaps exceed) the quality of this generation’sGrand Theft Auto IV, it seems that the level of excitement just can’t match Rockstar’s open-world city title. I have to wonder why, though — by all accountsRedemptioncould be one of the best games released this year.
Maybe it’s that people like cars more than horses, and rocket launchers more than six-shooters. I don’t necessarily have a preference to be honest, but you can hunt rabbit inRed Dead Redemption, and I’mallabout hunting rabbit, guys.
Game hits shelves on April 27 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
