Stockpile that Stardust
There was a brief window of time when I would specifically leave the house forPokémon Goin the hopes of filling out that accursed Pokédex, but now I won’t even bother to open the app when I’m out running errands. Even with much-needed new features, I don’t think there’s any bringing me back at this point aside from expanding the roster to include theGoldandSilvergeneration of Pokémon.
Some of you are hanging in there, though, much like I am still clinging onto the nefariousPokémon Shufflebecause I’ve lost control. Soon, you’ll be able to benefit from another incremental improvement: daily bonuses. By playing day after day, you can rack up extra experience, Stardust, and other items.

Catching a Pokémon every day will earn the following bonus:
Catching a Pokémon every day for 7 days straight will earn the following larger bonus:
Visiting a PokéStop and spinning the Photo Disc every day will earn the following bonus:

Visiting a PokéStop every day for 7 days straight will earn the following larger bonus:
If you catch a Pokémon at any time on Tuesday local time, you’ll be eligible for the next daily bonus on Wednesday at 12 AM local time.

These rewards could help a ton early on, but for power users, I don’t see this as a particularly substantial update. As ever, Niantic could stand to get features like this out at a quicker pace.
