See what’s been revamped in the Amerish update
PlanetSide 2is looking a little different today. Here’s what’s new. The Amerish revamp sees a number of performance optimizations that makes the overall object count and polygons per object more optimized. There’s new base layouts too, and facility satellite outposts have been converted into stand-alone outposts.
The Lattice System has been implemented, which will optimize map flow and repositions outposts. Lastly, nine new outposts have been added, and original outposts have been redesigned to reduce spawn camping and increase room for vehicle battles.
PlayStation 4 users can expect this same content once the shooter is released on Sony’s console as well.
