You may remember the first title in the Penumbra series,Overture, from theDestructoid reviewearlier this year. While there were some flaws, the overall consensus was thatOverturewas definitely worth checking out, especially for fans of the horror genre.Black Plagueis the final chapter in the series ( it seems as if there should have been one in-between from the wording, but it looks like there are just the two.)
Overturewas a free download way back when, but now both it andBlack Plaguecome at a cost of $19.99; however, per thedevelopers diaryfrom the website, the new title has undergone some major improvements since the first game’s release, most of them solely based on player feedback. It’s nice to know that some developers do take that feedback into consideration.

For me, it’s much simpler than all this gobbedly-gook — This game looks scary, and all I really want is to have a game I can turn out the lights and get jittery playing.Black Plaguereleases for PCin the Q1 2008, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
