Andy is probably old enough to be my son, which made it all the more surprising to hear how deeply he appreciates games that are about the same age as I am. We talked about how learning about every aspect of game development is important to anyone who wants to work in the industry, how rapid concept generation and subsequent self criticism is crucial to his process, the methods to best insert joy into people’s brains, and a lot more.

Thanks again to Andy for being on the program, and be sure to tune in today when we welcome Gordon Midwood ofDrive!Drive!Drive!back to the show. Gordon is hilarious. We’re starting up the showright here at 4pm EST, so don’t be late!
