‘I chlorophyll asleep’
Stealth action just seems to work better in 2D than in 3D. Games likeGunpoint,Mark of the Ninja, andStealth Bastardare testaments to that. PerhapsParadise Lost: First Contactwill be another title to add to that list in the future. What may set it apart from the others is the game’s protagonist: an intelligent photosynthetic extraterrestrial organism (or an alien plant, if you prefer). Also, that pixel art is pretty top-notch.
Paradise Lost is currently on Steam Greenlight, with plans to release on Windows, Mac, and Linux. DeveloperAsthree Workshas plans to announce a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign in the next few weeks.
