Building better worlds… The latest in the series of faux commercials forStar Citizenreleased byRoberts Space Industriesfocuses on the Constellation multi-purpose corvette, specifically the Aquila variant. The Constellation Aquila will be focused on exploration and surveying as evidenced by the trailer. I for one cannot wait for this game. I truly hope thatStar Citizen,Elite: Dangerous, andNo Man’s Skycan help revive what to this point is an unfortunately dead genre. Until then, I suppose I’ll just spend my time with Mark Hamill on the TCS Tiger’s Claw....

Because Nintendo of Europe is based in Germany, all of Europe is locked out of adult game purchased until 11pm-3am. “Legal age restriction requirements vary across a number of European countries,” Nintendo toldEurogamer. “Since Nintendo of Europe is based in Germany, Nintendo eShop is complying with German youth protection regulation which therefore applies to all our European markets....

Trying to get the service up and running in so many countries must have been an organizational nightmare....

Quite the comeback story This is…this is probably the last time we do this, right? At least, it’s the last time we do it in this exact way. By December of next year, theXbox Series Xwill have ushered in the next generation of Xbox, leaving our 2020 list as a hybrid that recognizes the best on both consoles. It managed to make boring stats meaningful by putting them to use outside of combat constantly, its story and dialogue blow evenBaldur’s Gateout of the water, and it contains a wide array of colorful, intriguing characters who all bring something to the Nameless One’s entourage. So when inXile announced that it would be crafting a spiritual successor late last year, I was beside myself with excitement and anticipation....

Kicks off on June 8 One of the best things Niantic has implemented inPokemon Gois the “community day” concept. Originally debuting back in 2018, the idea is to offer one day a month for players to earn enhanced rewards or catch specific Pokemon. Naturally a lot of dormant players actually show up for it, giving it a true “community” feel. This month’s community day has come and gone (May 19 was Torchic), and now June 8 will welcome Slakoth into the fray....

If you can’t beat leaks, join ’em PlayStation Japan has released a quirky promo that presents itself as a “leaked” internal video. The amusingly titled “PlayStation 5_Lineup_Presentation_File_2021-03” trailer features clips taken from a who’s who of great titles, all available on (or headed to) PS5. The video comes one week ahead of Sony Japan’s incoming “Play! Play! Play!” presentation, a roundtable discussion looking at some of the most hotly anticipated titles heading to PS5....

Eggcellent Evil penguin dictatorships are a serious problem; Super-serious. The second title in theRocketbirdsfranchise proposes one solution, in the form of Hardboiled Chicken, a tough bastard sent in to take out the penguin leader. It’s a snazzy looking cinematic platformer, and was an IGF finalist back in 2010. While you can already pick it up for PC (where it’s dirt cheap right now due to theSteam Big Picture Celebration) or on the PS3, you may want to wait until next year, when it drops on the Vita....
