Everyone has a favorite set of games (mine is stillSilver/Gold), but Hoenn never really grabbed me as much as the others. Why you should add Lost Constellation to your holiday traditions

A ghost story for some of our longest nights. I love dark winter nights. If it’s below freezing with snow piled on the window sills and wind whipping through frozen tree branches, then even better. I definitely don’t want to be out in those conditions, but late December evenings are the perfect backdrop to some of my favorite winter traditions. I’ve abandoned a lot of those tinsel-covered activities and replaced them with things that I like more....

If you haven’t picked upZeno Clash— undoubtedly call the most enjoyable Source-based, Chilean, 3D beatemup of the last six months — then perhaps the release of three new challenge levels will do something for you. Yes, we reported on thisearlier in the week, but I’ve just played the challenge levels and I’m here to tell you: they’re friggin’great. 10 best regression manhwa

Manhwa’s rise in popularity granted its reader base access to a slew of titles, and this demand in turn prompted more narratives to be written. However, it’s not all pros. The more series are released, the harder it becomes to stand out. And so, common tropes from successful series are frequently adapted, resulting in saturation. Regression manhwa is a good example of that. Much like tower climbingand transmigration, there is no shortage of manhwa utilizing this trope....

An ode to new horizons, on the eve of Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail

There comes a point where, after so many hours invested into something, it becomes a facet of your life. It could be a hobby or past-time, a skill or a tradition. Little habits that define slices of your life like eras. The anime you grew up watching on Toonami. The sourdough starter you tried during the pandemic. The podcasts you listen to on the drive to work. Games can do the same, and it’s that feeling that’s washing over me on the eve ofFinal Fantasy XIV‘s latest expansion....

ArenaNet unveils Guild Wars 2’s first expansion, Heart of Thorns

I’ve needed this for a while Guild Wars 2is a pretty great MMO. It’s buy-to-play, which means you have to purchase the initial package first, then there’s no subscription fees or nasty progression-hindering microtransactions. You buy the game, and it feels like a full game. Over the past few years though I feel like I’ve done everything that interests me personally, so I’m glad that developer ArenaNet just announced the expansionHeart of Thorns, that will be playable at PAX East this year....
