Nightingale’sEarly Access launch day is just around the corner, and plans for numerous updates come with it. During multiple stress test sessions andhands-on previews, Inflexion Games has gathered community feedback and organized it into a comprehensive plan for key changes beforeNightingale’slaunch. Allegedly Oculus VR founder, Palmer Luckey, is being sued for breach of contract. According toThe Recorder, Hawaiian virtual reality company Total Recall Technologies “seeks compensatory and punitive damages” against Luckey for breaching his non-disclosure agreement and passing off the work he did with the company as his own. In a lawsuit filed last week, Total Recall Technologies claims that Luckey was employed in 2011 to develop a new headset, but that he used the feedback and information from that work to launch his own VR project, the Oculus Rift....

A sexy supernatural voyage Once upon a time, an employee at a well known localization house told me there wasn’t a market for otome games in the west. The men in charge just didn’t believe folks in North America or Europe would buy romantic visual novels that were created (primarily) for a female audience. EA Sports boss and former Sega chief Peter Moore has paid tribute to the Dreamcast (R.I.P) on its tenth anniversary. Today marks the birthday of one of the most tragic consoles in gaming history and Moore, a man who witnessed its death firsthand, has written about the systemon his blog. “It certainly doesn’t feel like a decade has gone by since this innovative console ushered in the era of online gaming, albeit through a 56K modem, and thus changed the face of interactive entertainment forever,” he states....

Pick a new profile Weeks ago when reviewingZelda: Breath of the Wild, I toyed with the idea of restarting entirely after conquering the final boss. But after inspecting the “new game” button I found a warning explaining that my previous data would be overwritten, so I held off. Easy or tricky depending on your progress Salt Begets Salt is one of many sidequests you’ll encounter inDiablo 4. Players can find this one in the town of Jirandai, located near the south side of the Dry Steppes region. To initiate this quest, talk with the NPC Jargal. He’ll ask you to find someone named Tuji, which shouldn’t seem too out of the ordinary compared to otherDiablo 4sidequests. However, this one can becomeverytricky if you haven’t yet uncovered the area the quest points you towards....

With legions of enemies At a glance,Serious Sam 4might look like an open-world game. It isn’t! It just has some really, really big levels. And with Croteam’s new engine tech, the studio can fill said levels with anabsurd amountof enemies. Tens of thousands of foes rendered on-screen at once? Sure, why not! During a hands-off demo ofPlanet Badassat E3, I saw Sam mow down a horde while riding a combine harvester, which certainly helped explain why Devolver Digital’s E3 lot had actual farm equipment....
