Otome game Norn9 coming to Vita this autumn

A sexy supernatural voyage Once upon a time, an employee at a well known localization house told me there wasn’t a market for otome games in the west. The men in charge just didn’t believe folks in North America or Europe would buy romantic visual novels that were created (primarily) for a female audience. It seems Aksys Games didn’t get the memo, though. The publisher has released a decent amount of otome games recently —HakuokiandSweet Fusecome to mind — and now here’s another....

Overwatch reaches 35 million players across all platforms

PC, PS4, Xbox One Blizzard has just shared the news thatOverwatchhas reached “35 million players and counting” this week. While the new milestone is impressive, let’s make sure we break it down a bit. This isn’t accounting for active or concurrent users, nor is it highlighting just one platform. This is across everything, PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and essentially amounts to “units sold,” not accounting for promotions. To break it down even further, the game grew from 30 million in April, meaning five million more have joined the fray in six months....

Platformer Narcissus aims to bring back the arcade experience

Or, how I learned to hate my friends again Narcissus, or so the myth goes, was the son of the river god Cephissus and the nymph Liriope. Renowned for his beauty, but also for being somewhat of an ass, he was lured to a pool of water by goddess of divine retribution Nemesis, where he became fixated with his own reflection. (And then died.) The inspiration forAlex Johansson’sNarcissusis truthfully less dramatic, evoked by watching his little brother jump between stepping stones on a river near his home, reflection in tow....

PSA: Starting a new Zelda: Breath of the Wild game will delete all your old saves

Pick a new profile Weeks ago when reviewingZelda: Breath of the Wild, I toyed with the idea of restarting entirely after conquering the final boss. But after inspecting the “new game” button I found a warning explaining that my previous data would be overwritten, so I held off. Instinctively I tried starting a new game on my UK and Japanese profiles (created to access other regions of the eShop), and they were good to go....

Salt Begets Salt side quest guide Diablo 4

Easy or tricky depending on your progress Salt Begets Salt is one of many sidequests you’ll encounter inDiablo 4. Players can find this one in the town of Jirandai, located near the south side of the Dry Steppes region. To initiate this quest, talk with the NPC Jargal. He’ll ask you to find someone named Tuji, which shouldn’t seem too out of the ordinary compared to otherDiablo 4sidequests. However, this one can becomeverytricky if you haven’t yet uncovered the area the quest points you towards....

Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass isn’t open world, but it will have some huge levels

With legions of enemies At a glance,Serious Sam 4might look like an open-world game. It isn’t! It just has some really, really big levels. And with Croteam’s new engine tech, the studio can fill said levels with anabsurd amountof enemies. Tens of thousands of foes rendered on-screen at once? Sure, why not! During a hands-off demo ofPlanet Badassat E3, I saw Sam mow down a horde while riding a combine harvester, which certainly helped explain why Devolver Digital’s E3 lot had actual farm equipment....
