‘Late January 2020’ Official Switch GameCube remotes can go for upward of $80. You know the drill. Nintendo releases a limited run of something, scalpers go crazy, Nintendo drags their feet on reprints and the world continues to turn. It’s been a while since we’ve seen the resurgence of the GameCubeSuper Smash Bros.Edition controller, but thanks to a listing update on the official Nintendo UK Store, there’s now hope. The listing notes that “new stock will be due to dispatch” in late January 2020, a year and a month after the original release of the hardware....

It will be heading to PC, PS4, and Xbox One on August 05, 2025, with collector’s editions available....

Many familiar faces Famitsu magazine held a poll at the end of June, asking its readers to vote on what they think are the best role-playing games of all time are. The results are in, and the top 20 answers are on the board. Despite releasing this year, Japanese gamers votedPersona 5as the best ever, and evenNieR: AutomataandFinal Fantasy XVranked high. Not to discredit anyone, but the more I see people claiming X is the best game ever made every three months the more I start to believe in that good ole recency bias....

You can grab it for $10 XCOM: Enemy Unknownwas one of my favorite games of 2012, and a year later, I enjoyed its iOS port all the same. It was a wonderful way to play it on the go, and considering the fact that it was basically the full game, it wasn’t really gimped outside of the visuals. Now, you can grab it on Android for $10 from the Google Play storefront....

Halo 4is coming to the Xbox 360 later this year and it’s kicking off a brand new trilogy that focuses back on the iconic hero of the series, Master Chief. Believe it or not, there’s a rich and compelling fiction toHalobut you wouldn’t know that unless you read the books.Halo 1, 2, and3kind of just threw you into the fray without going into the backstory much. With 343 Studios now at the helm theHaloseries, though, they’re looking to make the story and character development a big part of the experience....

Johnny Cash’s worst nightmare In a new trailer loaded with an incredible amount of PR speak, we’ve finally gotten some details on howBattlefield V’sbattle royalemodewill play out. Those hoping for something akin toPUBGorFortnitewill be saddened, as “Firestorm” (the official name for the mode) will be limited to 16 four-man teams for a total of 64 players. The trailer does promise that the map will be “the largestBattlefieldmap ever” and include everything players have come to expect from the series....
