If you’re a fan ofOne Pieceand enjoy a dip into the world of Mobile gaming, you’ve likely heard ofOne Piece: Bounty Rush. The 4 vs. 4 PvP capture the flag game is incredibly fun to play, has a gacha element, and bizarrely compelling.

However, in my time with it the one place it fell flat was the clunky touchscreen controls. Maybe this is a me problem, but I’ve never quite been able to fully enjoy a game when using a touchscreen to control movement or attacks. This will soon be an issue of the past whereBounty Rushis concerned as Bandai Namco has revealed that One Piece: Bounty Rush is coming to Steam in Fall 2024.

InOne Piece: Bounty Rush, you gain new characters from a huge roster of 200 possibly obtainable characters through the gacha system. Then, you use these characters in 4 vs. 4 Capture the Flag battles to win upgrade materials, currencies, and, let’s face it, bragging rights.

Transferring this touchscreen mobile game to larger screens is already a huge step in what I feel is the right direction, but the ability to play with WASD controls or even a controller (hopefully) will only give what is a truly fun game a new lease of life.

Originally released for mobile platforms back in 2018,Bounty Rushhas more than 10 million downloads through theGoogle Play Storealone, and reviews are largely favorable. There are regular events held, including the current 5.5 Year Thank You Campaign, and you’re never short of new things to do.

There is currently no word as to whether progress made on mobile platforms will carry over to the Steam version ofBounty Rush, although even if you need to start over, you’ll have a world of fun clawing your way back up the league tables and kicking butt in battles against other players.
