Wednesday will see the release of two Xbox LIVE Arcade games. One has been on the cards for quite some time now, the other,not so much. That’d beMetal Slug XX(1200 Microsoft Points) andAqua(800 MSP).
Having never gotten around to picking upMetal Slug XXfor PSP, I can’t say how it performs compared to prior installments. It looks as if they really stepped up the insanity, though, and that’s what I like to see. Ostriches with mounted machine guns? Yup, you’re playing aMetal Sluggame.
Aqua, on the other hand,has been kept on the hush-hush until only recently. It’s a water-based shooter that looks promising enough. Still, it’s times like these I’m glad demos are a requirement for XBLA games.
