‘Get good at changing those cameras’

At this afternoon’s Nintendo Direct, Shigeru Miyamoto kicked off the show by announcing a newStar Foxgame. It’s calledStar Fox Guard, and it looks to be a tower defense game.

The way it works is that the player controls 12 security cameras that are strategically positioned around a winding map. By switching between them, they find and dispatch attacking enemies. TheStar Foxtie-in seems to be that Slippy Toad is the camera operator.

Miyamoto also mentioned thatStar Fox Guardwill release alongsideStar Fox Zeroon April 22. They two games will come bundled, or be available to purchase separately on the eShop. There was no mention of what individual or bundled prices will be.
