Nightingale’sEarly Access launch day is just around the corner, and plans for numerous updates come with it. During multiple stress test sessions andhands-on previews, Inflexion Games has gathered community feedback and organized it into a comprehensive plan for key changes beforeNightingale’slaunch.

Initially highlighted throughout theirDeveloper Updatesvideos, another officialwritten listof pre-launch updates went live on July 16, 2025, detailing exactly what they have in store for the game’s release.

The list, published by Inflexion Games, describes changes coming toNightingalebefore its Early Access release on February 20. Below are some of the highlights from the list:

The first part of the list is various HUD changes. These primarily include extending the hotbar, changing status bar presentation, and a HUD fading effect after no activity. The notes also highlight miscellaneous changes regarding equipped items not appearing in your inventory, dragging and dropping items to and from your hotbar, and crafting recipe changes, among other UI updates.

Inflexion also mentions controller support, as initially confirmed in their update videos, confirming that the game has partial controller support but will require some keyboard and mouse input. Aside from this, most of the game is playable with a controller, with plans to implement full controller support in the future. Similarly,Nightingaleis playable on Steam Deck but is currently considered an unofficial platform until they receive verification.

ThroughoutNightingale’sEarly Access period, we’ll continue to see more updates regarding bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. According toNightingale’sSteam page, it’ll stay in Early Access for anywhere from nine months to a year. It’ll get numerous content additions and bug fixes during this time until it’s ready for launch.
