Like Wind Waker with voxels

It’s been awhile since we’ve taken a look atCube World, a voxel-based action-RPG, but that doesn’t mean the small team hasn’t been working on it. Indeed, the game’sdevelopment bloghas seen fairly regular updates, usually with a fresh batch of cubey screenshots.

The video above shows off some of the exploration aspects ofCube World, which seems pretty heavily inspired byThe Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, with hang gliders and sailboats used as modes of transportation. Also featured is the world map, which shows just how expansive and varied the terrain is set to be.

Cube Worlddoesn’t have a solid release date set, but only the vague statement that it will release “when it’s done.”
