Right on cue, Capcom has released aHigh-Resolution Texture PackforMonster Hunter: Worldon PC. It’s a separate download on Steam, and it’s free, so as long as you have the right hardware, it’s that simple.

As for system requirements, they’re not necessarily as demanding as I thought they might be.

Minimum

Even if your system isn’t up to the task, you don’t have to feel totally left out. Today’sMonster Hunter: Worldupdate also fixes bugs and includes features like “TAA+FXAA” in the anti-aliasing graphics settings, a meter in the menu to show how much PC VRAM you’re using with your current settings, another mouse control type, and a “Friends Can Join” toggle for private multiplayer sessions.
