Kamura Pack 2 is out today
The last time we checked inwith Capcom’s Platinum Title list,Monster Hunter Risewas breaking the top 10.
Now, it’s sailed past that and is aiming to settle into the top five. Yep,Risecould feasibly become one of the five top-selling Capcom games of all time, in goodMonster Huntercompany too: asWorldhas the number one spot by quite a bit (16.8 million units compared toResident Evil 7‘s 8.5 million).
According to Capcom,Risejust hit the six millionsoldmark worldwide, including downloads. Impressive! It’s crazy to think aboutMonster Hunterbecoming the newResident Evilcash cow for the company, especially having been in it since the start, but here we are.Of note, this is one of the few single-system games in the top 10. The vast majority of the games are multiplatform, and of course that will change afterRisehits PC in 2022, but for now, it’s a fact.
To celebrate this achievement,conveniently piggybacked off of the announcement ofMonster Hunter Rise‘s 2.0 update, a new item pack is hitting the game today. It contains 30 Mega Potions, 20 Well-done Steaks, 10 Large Barrel Bombs, 5 Mega Demondrugs, and 5 Mega Armorskins. Not bad for free!
