It’s time to take the money and run and gun, as Infinity Ward is prepping a new update for its popular battle royale titleCall of Duty Warzone 2.0, which sees a return for the frantic heist mode, Plunder. The mode is scheduled to go live on all platforms today, alongside a new, bug-smashing patch.

One of the initial two modes that launched withCall of Duty Warzoneback in 2020, Plunder tasks teams of players with snatching up bags of cash and transporting them to a central drop-off point, while simultaneously defending their horde from the sticky fingers of the opposing team members. It’s a frenetic running battle that can turn on a dime, and requires strong synergy, efficient movement, and, as always, a precise aim. Warzone players will no doubt be pleased to see the challenging side-game return.
