I have to imagine having free mulitplayer weekends for games must help shift lots of extra copies, and a quick glance of the Top Sellers list on Steam showsMW3in second spot just pipped by the newly released PC version ofAlan Wake. I’ve enjoyed playing previous free weekends to discover new games likeDawn of War 2andKilling Floor, but surely you all know whatMW3is gonna play like, right?
Still, it would be interesting to see why people are buying the game now. Is it the price drop that’s swaying them now or is it gamers finally getting a big taste of the game’s multiplayer action? Are any of you guys going to pick the game up now, despite the fact it’s four months old and you will probably get slaughtered (okay, that might just be me)?
