Christmas? We’ll be having none ofthat, son. It’s “Holidays” on Xbox Live, and that of course involves an obligatory Hanukkah reference so that nobody thinks you’re racist.LIPSis getting some “Holiday Music” and unlike that Anti-SemiticSingStar, our Jewish friends get a song. Huzzah!
Rather disconcertingly, and totally not in the spirit of the season, theLIPSsongs are individually priced and quite pricey when bundled. Elivs Presley’s “Blue Christmas” is 180 Microsoft Points while “The Dreidel Song” by Sister Hazel can be yours for 160 Points. This is clearly racism on the part of Microsoft, believing that Jews won’t buy the track unless it’s at a lower price.

The final song on offer is Andy Williams’ “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” which one can assume is also 160 Points. That’ll be 500 Points for all three songs, which doesn’t exactly look like a good deal to me. Still, withtensofthousandsof “kazual gaymerz” adopting the Xbox 360 andforgetting all aboutthe Wii, I’m sure there will be a lot ofLIPSdownloads.
