The summer Olympics are coming to a close, so what better way to keep them in our mind until the next time than via hilarious memes made by Netizens who were too tired to compete but still too funny to stay quiet? Let’s take a look at how so many helped make the best moments in the Olympics even more memorable, shall we?

People were very quick to note how incredibly cool most of these shooters look due to their usage of cyberpunk-looking eye gear:

But when most athletes are wearing anime-grade special gear, the only special person is the guy in casual pants. Shooter Yusuf Dikeç is the undisputed meme king of this Olympics, and he did all that just by being himself.
For all I know, Dikeç might be a Hitman even better than 47 when it comes to going unnoticed, but he looks just like a regular dude wearing a regular pair of glasses. Dikeç has already become sort of a creature of myth in Japan, where aficionados are describing him to people who are just learning about Olympic shooting as something like a gamer who wins despite refusing to spend one single cent in pay-to-win add-ons.

Sadly, it’s important to notice that Dikeç didn’t get the silver medal by flying solo.He was part of a duo act with teammate Sevval Ilayda, who deserves just as much recognition. Just like Dikeç, Ilayda was also either going for the highest difficulty setting – or maybe also forgot the sci-fi glasses at home and just hoped nobody would notice.
It turns out that Dikeç looks a lot like Victor, a French character introduced inTekken8who’s very good at winning because of this marvelous martial art called “shooting your unarmed opponents with a gun”. It didn’t take fans too long to also bring him to the game:

Sources aren’t clear on whether they were celebrating or trying to coerce the judges into getting silver, but it’s a beautiful moment nonetheless.
