How to get Yearn Cape in Minecraft Movie Live Event
Earn the Yearn Cape (also known as “Movie Cape”) bycompleting five Live Event quests and collecting 60 Diamondsby April 7 at 4pm CT.Bedrockusers will see a hub for this event in the main menu, where you can jump right into the server. If you’re a Java edition user, you’ll have to use the Bedrock version to access it and then transfer the reward to your account afterward. Here’s a quick overview of allMinecraftMovie Live Event quests to help you unlock the Yearn Cape (I bolded currently active quests):
You’ll be transported to Midport Village, which plays a significant part in theA Minecraft Movie. Notable characters from the film will help you with challenges, including the legendary Steve.Each mission unlocks every other day, and I’ll update this guide as more tasks become available. Let’s break down each quest in detail to give you a better idea of what to expect.
How to complete Defend the Village quest
Open your map to discover the Wilderness, Mines, and the Outer Walls. You’ll have to complete the corresponding tasks in each area, requiring you to play standardMinecraftactivities like mining and mob fights. Once you’ve conquered them all, you’ll earn the Boots of Swiftness via the Dressing Room.
How to complete Ghasts Incoming quest
Transport to the Outer Walls to go against the deadly Ghasts. Approach the gate and whip out your bow and arrow to kill anything that comes out of the portals. Now that Quest 2 is active, you should seeGhastscome out of the portals. They may not be as frequent as the Piglins, so you’ll have to participate in multiple waves to meet the quota.
How to complete Farm Mobs, not Crops quest
The Farm Mobs, not Crops quest, works with any location with enemies inside. Use your bow and arrow or sword to eliminate 200 mobs. It’ll undoubtedly take some time, but it’ll all be worth it once you get the Yearn Cape and the Mushroom Hat from the Dressing Room.
How to complete Protect the Cart quest
Enter the Wilderness to locate the Payload Cart. Numerous enemies will try to attack it, and you’ll have to eliminate them withyour swordor bow and arrow. Fortunately, other players will help you out here, where you can cover all sides of the Payload. Keep the Cart at 40 percent health, or you’ll lose out on progress for this objective.
How to complete Low on Iron quest
While you’re defending the Outer Walls, you’ll see a few Iron Golems on the ground. The Piglins will attempt to take them down, and it’s best to use your bow and arrow to clear hordes of them (swords won’t do much in this minigame). You only need two Iron Golems alive, so don’t worry too much if enemies kill off one or more.
How to complete Mine Diamonds quest
Complete at least fiveMinecraftMovie Live Event quests to get closer to the Yearn Cape. You’ll also have to mine 60Diamondsfrom the Mines, using your reliable pickaxe. After you’ve accomplished both objectives, check your Dressing Room to equip your new cape.
