Wonder if any of the jokes have aged well
Couple of things aboutGex.
First and foremost, the PC version of the original isnow available on GOG.com. It’s priced at $5.99 and should be quite the nostalgia trip for some of you. That’s the main reason I’m writing this post.
But the re-release also brought my mind to the next game,Gex: Enter the Gecko, and I got to thinking about its horror-themed world, Scream TV, what with Halloween fast approaching.
It wouldn’t phase me today, but I distinctly remember being weirdly creeped out by the that zone. Specifically, the Chucky-esque possessed doll andthose ghoststhat either would or wouldn’t come after you while you were standing in the light. Oh how I despised those.
