Andrew Aversa emulates Hitoshi Sakimoto

I spent a lot of time listening to Hitoshi Sakimoto’s work with the soundtrack forFinal Fantasy Tactics. Heck, it is still in my rotation for background music during board game nights. From the sound of it, Andrew “zircon” Aversa did the same, as he composed the soundtrack for the Kickstarter-funded roguelikeDungeonmanstaking inspiration from Sakimoto.

We have some exclusive tracks available for download. “Cimmerian Cavern” is subdued, and like a musty cave, it almost feels damp itself. “The Tower Invincible” evokes a more adventurous feeling, like a song played by minstrels as knights march into battle. Check them out below, or head toOverClockedfor the full album.
