You have two days to complete all the Special Research tasks during Pokémon Go Fest 2025 Global to get yourself a Volcanion and a bunch of other goodies, so let’s dive into what trainers are expected to do over the weekend.
Two different Special Research are being added with this event, with one being themed around Zacian and Zamazenta, while the other will take you to Volcanion, which is what this article is about.
So if you came here to try and get Volcanion and wanted to know what you were in for, and what you would need to do as the day progresses, let’s jump right into it.

A reminder to all trainers, if you have already taken part in one of the in-person Go Fests this year at Osaka, Paris, or New Jersey, you cannot get a second Volcanion and will instead get a different reward later on in the task tree than those who did not attend the in-person events.
