New downloadable content available starting today
Prior to being picked up by Jagex and released to a wider audience on Steam,Ace of Spadeshad an alpha build that was available as a free download. While both versions carry the same name, it was the earlierAce of Spadeswith its trench warfare that players seemed to prefer. Now, thenewgame —the commercial one on Steam— is getting a free Classic Mode as DLC:
This content is supposed to drop today, so if you happen to ownAoSalready, perhaps it’ll be worth it to check back in. I’m somewhat worried that fans of the alpha will feel this isn’t enough, since that’s how these situations have gone down in the past despite best efforts, but I do love that a) they’re trying and b) it’s free.
