When Itook a lookat theBioShockremasters on PC this past weekend, I was pretty disappointed. Instability, a lack of graphics options, and poorly implemented mouse controls were all present and accounted for. The only real plus was that the updates were free.
Thankfully, 2K Games is listening to fans and will be addressing issues in a patch soon. In a post on the Steam community group forBioShock Remastered, 2K detailed what options would be coming to the game. An FOV slider, better mouse options, and improved audio features are all being worked on.

I had no idea 21:9 resolutions weren’t present in the game (seeing as how I’ve never even seen a 21:9 monitor in person), but it is great news to read this. I wouldn’t want anyone to approachBioShockand get a sour taste due to a crappy port job.
There is no firm date scheduled for the upcoming patch, but 2K does advise that any users experiencing issues with the remasters check out the 2Ksupport forums. While that doesn’t immediately resolve the issues, reporting any new ones is a great way to keep these ports in top form.
