[Update:Square Enix has confirmedthat it will be an enhanced port of sorts, offering up “new graphical options,” as well as an improved battle and camera system, among other updates.]
Square Enix has been on a Steam bender lately. The latestFinal Fantasygame to hit the service is going to beType-0 HD, which the publisher just announced this morning by way of its official Japanese Twitter account. Not a whole lot is known at this time, but you may probably expect a straight port without any extra frills. Since a lot of folks out there don’t own an Xbox One or PS4 yet, I’m glad that they’ll have a chance to play it.
Of course, this could also lead to a potentialFinal Fantasy XVPC port, but I’d say the chances of Steam users gettinganEpisode Duscaedemoare very low.
