The City of Steel

Fallout 76Season 10has been revealed, and it’ll debut alongside the massive upcoming update forThe Pitton September 13.

As usual, the “seasonal” approach is mostly a high-level aesthetic sheen on the modern season pass, complete with a reward track. Bethesda says this will be the “first time ever” that you can unlock gear crafting recipes, which is sure to ruffle some feathers. For the most part though, Season 10 is business as usual. The 100-ish rank system is still in place, but this time the rewards are themed around the rust-filled Pitt locale.

Fallout 76 Season 10

Here’s the full description from the team:

“Enjoy the city of the future, brought to you by Red Rocket, as you accrue S.C.O.R.E. and progress through 100 ranks of rewards. Unlock new gear and cosmetics as well as tons of currency to spend, including Atoms, Caps and even Stamps to trade for new Expedition-related goods. Fallout 1st members can unlock even more in Season 10, including exclusive rewards and even bonus S.C.O.R.E. boosts that last throughout the Season for active members!”

While the setup isn’t that exciting, it does come with the Pitt update itself, which can be played while ignoring the season pass system wholesale. And of course, playing it at any point after the addition of The Pitt will include all of the iterative content released so far after the underwhelming launch. For folks that have avoided it thus far: the prospect of randomly playing it on Game Pass one weekend keeps getting more enticing.
