Due for release on the PlayStation Portable and Nintendo DS(i), the games appear to capture the essence of theBattlefrontgames — “presented in a third-person perspective, the game allows players to engage in space, land, and air battles or build troops and upgrade armies in a strategy-based mode.”
The ESRB listing for the Nintendo DS version of the game mentions that players will “experience different battles from the Star Wars universe.”Awesome.
Sadly, we’re guessing that Crytek UK’s (Free Radical’s)sensationalBattlefrontfootagefrom long ago was not created for the PSP and Nintendo DS. Still, though, a newBattlefrontgame is on the horizon. Get happy, already!
