Behaviour Interactive’sDead by Daylightis making its manga debut. The asymmetrical multiplayer game has inspired a manga anthology, which officially launched in Japan today.
TitledDead by Daylight Fan Comic Anthology, the manga collection was revealed through the official social accounts of publisher Media Factory’sMonthly Comic Alivemagazine. you may see the full cover illustration from TERU below.

Those who pick up the first edition of the anthology will get a code that unlocks an in-game Voxel Meg charm.

Despite the horror source material, it looks like there could be a lot of tonal variety in this one. The wraparound obi on the cover includes a blurb from Japanese comedian and singer Eiko Kano. Some of the artists involved have shared samples online, as well, including Ryo Sawamura, who contributed a story centered on survivor Nea Karlsson.

Beyond manga andthe addition of a crossover withTomb Raiderstar Lara Croft,Dead by Daylighthas big plans for the rest of the year. Behaviour Interactiveoutlined the Year 9 roadmap in May, from June’sDungeons & Dragonscollaboration to new original chapters, in-game events, and more.
As for whether or not we’ll get a chance to check outDead by Daylight Fan Comic Anthologyin English, there’s no word at the time of this writing. At the very least, maybe they can work in a few sample pages as rewards for completing Tome challenges. It may not expand theDead by Daylightcharacter lore any further, but there’s nothing wrong with a little light shining through the darkness.
