The firstCapcom Arcade Stadiumlaunched last year, with a collection of various arcade classics. Of course,Street Fighter IIwas in the mix, as wasBionic CommandoandGhouls ‘n Ghosts. There were also games like Cave’sProgearand some obscure pick-ups, likeCyberbots: Full Metal Madness.

A big deal here is probablyThree Wonders, which is a bonus for those who pick up theFighting Collectionas well. The three-in-one CPS-1 has, as the name would imply, three titles in it. Bit of a bummer that it seems to require a double-dip, but a neat cut of Capcom history nonetheless.
The only other confirmed addition isSonSon, a free download. Obviously there’s a bit more that Capcom could delve into, which it says it will do “soon.”

Capcom also put out anew trailerfor another classics collection today. TheFighting Collectionhas its pre-orders live now, and also comes with its own lineup of pre-order bonuses, including some music remixes and illustrations.
TheCapcom Fighting Collectionbrings together some classic and sometimes overlooked parts of Capcom’s fighting game catalog. It hasDarkstalkers: The Night Warriorsand multipleVampire Saviorgames, as well as the aforementionedCyberbotsandRed Earthtoo.

When we checked out the firstArcade Stadium, it sounded like it was a mostly solid collection of Capcom classics, though it was also what you’d expect. For those who really want to dig deeper into the arcade archives, hopefullyCAS2brings even deeper cuts. We’ll learn more as Capcom puts out more info about the retro recollection.
Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadiumis currently set for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
