When you start playingOnce Human,one of the first problems you’ll likely face is figuring out how to repair your rapidly degrading Pickaxe. You canrepair your motorcycle, as well as weapons and armor, and you can technically use the Pickaxe as a weapon, but can you repair it?
Unfortunately,you’re able to’t repair the Pickaxe inOnce Human.It’s one of the more puzzling things about the tool, besides perhaps the fact that it’s called a Pickaxe when it looks like an axe and can be used both to chop down trees and mine ore. However, don’t despair: As you unlock the different skills in your Cradle, you’ll learn to craft stronger Pickaxes that don’t deteriorate as quickly as your scrubby beginner one.
What can you do with your breaking Pickaxes inOnce Human?
Don’t use your Pickaxes until they break! That will cause them to vanish from your inventory, lost forever. Instead, use them right up to the breaking point, then stash them away until you make a trip to town, where you can sell them for a few quick Energy Links. The sturdier Pickaxes are worth more money.
It’s an odd little inconvenience, being unable to repair Pickaxes even though your base is filled with workbenches. Perhaps developer Starry Studio will decide to make the Pickaxe inOnce Humanrepairable eventually. But for now, they’ve probably got other things higher on their priority list, like preparing for thecoming server reset.
