One of the first pieces of equipment you pick up inOnce Humanis an ugly hat. You’ll probably want to wear it, but do you have to look at it? Can you just hide your headgear?

Yes. In fact, you may hide whateveryou don’t like. Here’s how.

How to hide armor in Once Human

It’s rather simple to hide whatever you want inOnce Human. You do this from the Gear menu in your character inventory.

You can open directly to your gear menu by using the default key of K. Once in there, simply hover over one of the items and hit the V key. It will disappear but still be equipped.

Once Human hide gear

This isn’t restricted to just your headwear. You can hide any piece of armor you want while still benefitting from its stat increases. I’m not sure why you’d want to hide your shirt, but I guess the question is really, “Why not?” I can definitely imagine a scenario in which you’d want to hide your pants. Whether you want to walk around like that is up to you.

One thing to note is that if you keep toggling parts of your armor really quickly, the server will give you a warning of “Operations too frequent.” I doubt that will cause any issues over time. In fact, it’s a bit strange since it implies that the changes on the server are made instantly rather than only applied after closing the menu.
