Going retro to get ready for Raid
The Switch versions ofResident Evil: Revelations 1and2have a unique way of preparing players for Raid mode. They each have their own mini-game that appears to be exclusive to Nintendo’s console.
Revelations 1‘s game is called “Ghost Ship Panic” and it’s a vertical shooter of sorts. The sequel has a more interesting take. It’s called “Ghouls ‘n Homunculi” — a riff on the Capcom-developedGhosts ‘n Goblins. Trailers for both of the mini-games are embedded below.
As for how these fit into the larger game, Capcom says that players can earn BP and gold in the mini-games to use for their runs through the action-oriented Raid mode. Nice to see something new for when theResident Evil: Revelationsgames come to Switch, the last platform they could reasonably land on, on November 28.
