Well, would you Adam and Eve it? Sony’s VR “action movie”Blood & Truthhas debuted at number one of the UK Charts, usurping Sega’sTeam Sonic Racingand becoming the first VR game ever to hit the top spot. To be fair we’re in a fairly quiet period for big releases, but still, congrats to the cock-a-nee shooter no-one saw coming.

This week also saw several big releases drop out of the Top Ten, including Bethesda’s apocalyptic shooterRage 2and Ubisoft’s tactical mercenary titleTom Clancy’s The Division 2.Warner Bros’Mortal Kombat 11is just hanging in there at number 10, while niche sports titleCricket ’19: Official Game of The Ashesbowled itself in at number five.

Elsewhere in the charts, Sold Out’sLittle Friends: Dogs and Catsdebuted at number 24, while huge boosts were given to Ubisoft’sWatch Dogs 2andAssassin’s Creed Odyssey, as well as Activision’sSpyro Reignited Trilogy,which climbed from number 38 to number 20.
