Naviais a unique 5-star Geo Claymore character inGenshin Impact. Her kit uses Crystallize reactions to buff her Skill damage, forcing a different approach to team-building than other Geo characters. Here are some of my favorite teams for Navia as both an on-field and quickswap DPS!

Unlike some other Geo DPS units,Navia should avoid a mono Geo team. Noelle and Itto can get away without reactions, but Navia requires Crystallize shards to increase her Skill damage.

Best teams for Navia mains

If you’re a Navia main, then you probably want to maximize Navia’s damage output as an on-field DPS. As an on-fielder, Navia will use every part of her kit, from her Normal Attacks to her Skill and Burst. All three Talents should be leveled, but prioritize her Skill if you have to choose.

In general, you may mix and match from these options:

This team has two off-field damage dealers on top of Navia. Albedo provides Geo particles to fund Navia’s Burst and Furina buffs the team’s damage. Mika may sound like an odd choice, but his healing is enough to counter Furina’s health drain and his ATK SPD buff lets Navia get a few more Normal Attacks in. Mika can also hold the 4pc Noblesse Oblige artifact set, further buffing Navia’s damage.

Double Geo and double Pyro means you get both Geo and Pyro Resonance effects, increasing Navia’s damage. Just ensure Xiangling is standing on Bennett’s circle before she Bursts. Navia will also want to stay in Bennett’s circle as much as she can while she’s on-field.

Best teams for quickswap Navia

If you prefer less field time for Navia, you can play her as a quickswap DPS. Note that this playstyle decreases Navia’s personal damage significantly, since she will only be on-field for a quick Skill and Burst with no Normal Attacks. Still, quickswap Navia is a valid playstyle, and can be useful if you want to funnel Geo particles to someone like Noelle.

Quickswap Navia is also a better use case for the 4pc Golden Troupe artifact set, since Navia will be spending more time off-field.

Noelle – Navia – Furina – Gorou

This team featuresNoelleas the primary on-field DPS, while Navia deals additional damage and provides Energy. Noelle and Gorou’s healing combined should be enough to offset Furina’s health drain effect. Noelle’s Burst persists even after switching to a different character, so you’re able to interrupt Noelle’s combo to use Navia’s Skill or refresh Gorou’s buffs.

This is more of a true quickswap team, switching between Navia and Ningguang as their Skill and Burst cooldowns allow. Bennett and Xiangling form a powerful core that buffs the team, deals Pyro damage, and enables Crystallize.

Best free-to-play teams for Navia

So you’ve got Navia, but not many other 5-stars? No problem! Navia is extremely free-to-play friendly. Here are some teams for Navia that are easy on the budget.

Good old National, but with Navia at the helm. Xiangling can still Vaporize most of her Burst damage, and there’s plenty of Crystallize to fuel Navia’s Skill hits.

This is more of a quickswap team that swaps between Navia and Geo Traveler to deal damage with their skills. Bennett and Xiangling are just too powerful to pass up, even without Hydro for Vaporize.

Noelle – Navia – Fischl – Gorou

If you want to escape the Bennett-Xiangling meta, try running a Noelle team with Fischl. You’ll definitely want Constellations on both Noelle and Gorou, but at least they’re easier to obtain than 5-stars.
