The curtain has closed on another year of The Game Awards, withBaldur’s Gate 3taking home the top prize – Game of the Year – at The Game Awards 2023.
For the biggest names of the night, a few took home a bevy of awards.Baldur’s Gate 3led the charge with 6 trophies, whileAlan Wake 2took home a solid 3 andThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdompicked up a surprising single trophy.
For a game as tough as this year has been for the actual industry and developers, the games were at least pretty good. Hopefully, the developers who took home some hardware tonight can feel accomplished for all they managed to make this year.
