The third part ofDestiny 2‘s Pinnacle Data Pad Retrieval seasonal challenge is bringing you into Whisper, the old mission that returned with Into the Light.

Whisper is a labyrinthian area deep in the heart of Io, which disappeared with the vaulting of several destinations inBeyond Light. As such, it wasn’t accessible until Bungie decided to bring it back in the run-up toThe Final Shape.

If you haven’t done this mission yet, you can get theWhisper of the WormExotic sniper rifle as a reward. It’s not as powerful as it used to be, more due to the sandbox’s shifts than its actual merit, but it’s still a good weapon to bring to most scenarios. The rifle can help with Raid bosses like Oryx, with huge critical spots that let you unload all your ammo in one go if your aim is good enough.

Where to find all data pads in The Whisper in Destiny 2

There are two data pads in Whisper, and both are located close to each other. You must get through a long jumping section before you make it there, though.

When you reach this area with the fake portals, look to your right to find the data pad by a wall. Collect it and head through the last portal on the right side of the wall, taking the one on the top. Others will likely lead you to your untimely demise.

The second data pad in Whisper is located just after the overgrown room with a jumping puzzle that takes you around the walls. As soon as you get here, look for a hole in the wall behind you for a shortcut. Follow it to come out into a dark, open area, then look to your right to find the second and final Whisper data pad. You may have a hard time making the jump on a Hunter, though.
