More Players

True to its name, the More Players mod allows you to play with more friends and exceed the 6-player cap. Of course, the more people you add, the more unstable your game will become. Still, it may be worth a try if you want to add a couple of extra friends to the mix.

REPO Roles

The REPO Roles mod aims to expand gameplay mechanics by adding 6 unique roles to the game. At the start of a game, you’ll receive either the Runner, Tank, Gambler, Strongman, Ranged Looter, or Athletic role. Each of these has a unique buff like a faster run speed, strength, more hp, more range or a randomized buff and debuff. If gameplay is getting a little stale, this mod can be just the ticket to add a little depth to the game.

Infinite Stamina

This one may be a tad controversial as technically, buying Stamina upgrades are a core part of the game. I believe the Stamina system is a little too harsh, however. It feels like you can only run for a millisecond before your character gasps for breath. With the Infinite Stamina mod, you can literally run for hours without stopping. If you feel this is a little too close to cheating, there are other options like the Improved Stamina or More Stamina mods that lower Stamina consumption without removing it as a mechanic altogether.

Shrinker Cart

The Shrinker Cart may possibly be my favorite on this list. When hovering loot above your crate, it will shrink down, making it more compact and easier to deliver to extraction points. The larger the item, the smaller it will get. This mod doesn’t influence Strength, however, so you’ll still need to upgrade your Strength stat to pick up heavier objects.

Enemy Location

The Enemy Location mod does exactly what it says on the tin. It enables the minimap to pinpoint enemy locations with a red dot.R.E.P.Ocan be notoriously difficult, with monsters seemingly unstoppable and loot as fragile as glass. That being said, an early detection device like this can be an invaluable help when avoiding beasts.

Infinite Energy Crystals

The Infinite Energy Crystals mod kits your truck out with an unlimited supply of Energy Crystals. This means you can recharge health and weapons without having to buy new Crystals each time. Removing this mechanic from the game makes it much easier and allows you to buy pricier weapons sooner.

More Heads

The More Head and Even More Head mods allow you to customize your player avatar with different hats, glasses, and other accessories. This is a fun cosmetic mod that just adds a bit more personalization to your game.

Lego Gnomes

Gnomes are an absolute menace inR.E.P.O. They’ll delightfully hop into your cart and break all of your precious loot while you look on in horror. Thankfully, you can return the favor and break these pesky creatures by grabbing and dropping them. The Lego Gnomes mod adds a lovely ASMR twist to all your gnome-bashing needs by applying the Lego brick-breaking sound effect for every Gnome slain. It’s not exactly a useful mod, but it is pleasant to listen to after a stressful day collecting loot for The Taxman.

Team Upgrades and Team Heals

The Team Upgrades and Team Heals mods are clumped together here as they essentially do the same thing and have been created by the same modder. In essence, they allow you to share Health Packs and Upgrades amongst your team. Considering how pricey upgrades can get, this gives you a little breathing room and the opportunity to save up for other things like weapons and additional carts.

Custom Colors

The Custom Colors mod allows you to have more variety when selecting your avatar’s color. It adds RGB sliders so you may go as neon as you like, which is helpful when navigating through the grainy maps ofR.E.P.O.It’s a simple mod that allows a bit more customization.

How to install R.E.P.O mods

Now you have a list of the best R.E.P.O mods to install, but that’s no good if you don’t know how to install them. Almost all of these mods require you to first install the BepInExPack. This is essentially the software framework for enabling mods in your game. To install theBepInExPackfrom the Thunderstore, navigate to the link and then click ‘Manual Download’ or ‘Install with Mod Manager’ if you have the Thunderstore app installed.

It is much easier to just install the Thunderstore app as you can download all of the above mods instantly instead of manually extracting the files.
