The apparatus is a lengthy tube, ends in a hand, and is positioned on the player’s armored suit in what you could call the “genital triangle.” Hence,Dick Hand. The game is the work of notable game composer, Jake “Virt” Kaufman, who contributedDick Handto the 2013Global Game Jamearlier this year, developing it over 48 hours....

To put everything I’m about to say into context, I don’t know if anyone has anticipatedHammerwatch 2as much as I have. The originalHammerwatch, released in 2013 by Crackshell, wastheco-op indie game I played for months. It was aGauntlet-style dungeon crawler with distinct character classes, lite RPG elements, and neat mod support. It’s a short game that you can clear in under four hours, but I got so much replay value out of it in part thanks to Crackshell’s ongoing support....

Big Trouble in Little Destiny Today, during the Xbox press conference, EA and BioWare showed off “in-engine” gameplay from new BioWare IPAnthem. The game is a co-op open world RPG, where players team up with their friends to go beyond the walls of an unnamed city to fight robotic enemies. Anthemhas all the hallmarks of a modern shooter RPG: named colored loot, different classes anchored by a decent “all-round” class, and challenging areas that require multiple players....

There has been abit of talkabout an interesting legendary weapon inBorderlands: The Pre-Sequelthat is in plain sight, but unavailable at first. Excalibastard is stuck in a stone in the area Stanton’s Liver, and only those badass enough can pull it out. At first, there was only speculation, but the community went in and tinkered with the code to find out that it requires at least 2500 badass points to pull, which is somewhere between one and two times through the campaign, depending on how much variety a player employs....

Playlogic has announced today that its PC title that I can’t seem to remember,Infernal: Hell’s Vengeance, is coming to the Xbox 360 on June 30. On paper,Infernal— which hit PC in 2007 — sounds horribly generic. It’s a third-person shooter about a guy named Ryan Lennox (the action film equivalent of “Joe Smith”), who turns into a ghost and has to use supernatural powers to kill things. The back-of-the-box bullets points include things like “gripping storyline,” “beautifully designed indoor and outdoor environments,” a cover system, and “intelligent enemies who use the environment to their advantage....

The mystery Pokemon is related to Terapagos Earlier this year, we learned thatPokemon Scarlet & Violetwould be getting two DLC drops spread across 2023, similar to the last generation. “The Teal Mask” arrives in the fall and “The Indigo Disk” is coming in the winter; since their initial reveal, we haven’t learned much info about the DLC: until recently. The new generation of the anime (sans Ash)teased another upcoming Pokemon, and itlookedto be directly related to (or perhaps an early/chibi form of) Terapagos....

So handsome I was only able to catch bits and pieces of the Independent Games Festival awards and the Game Developers Choice awards last week, but I did manage to see what must have been one ofthe evening‘s best moments: Kutaragi’s Way. eSports! Activision has finally announced that they’re partnering with YouTube as the livestreaming partner forCall of Duty: Black Ops IImultiplayermatches. Yup, you’ll be able to livestream your matches directly through the game on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Players can also hook up any USB webcam to stream their faces along side the game, and perform audio “shoutcasting” commentary.
