The Zelda: Twilight Princess HD Wolf Link amiibo works in Super Mario Maker

Another 8-bit costume A friend gave me the bright idea of trying to usethe Wolf Link amiibo(from my recently acquired copy ofTwilight Princess HD) inSuper Mario Maker, and wouldn’t you know, it worked! Apparently the figure unlocks an 8-bit Midna and Link costume, as one would expect. Curiously though, the description text seems to be a placeholder, as it’s written entirely in Japanese. Nintendo probably wasn’t counting on people trying it this early, but now that the cat is out of the bag, and with the frequency at whichMario Makergets updates, we can expect it to be fixed when the game actually launches....

Unsurprisingly, this exorbitantcollector’s editionis exclusive to the Square Enix Online Store....

Wii capacitor technology earns Nintendo another lawsuit

Given how busy (and frequently successful) they’ve been over the years, it’s hard not to imagine Nintendo’s legal department as a razor-sharp, iron-sinewed, crack military team of litigation commandos.
